Setup FAQ

Answers before you connect.

Direct answers about clients, manual setup, current servers and connection options.

What is the easiest way to set up VPN access?

Start with the recommended client or app for your device. Download it, enter the VPN account details supplied after purchase, choose a current server and connect.

Which app or client should I use?

Use the current VPNClient download for Windows or macOS, the App Store VPNClient for iPhone and iPad, or the Android VPNClient from Google Play. Client and feature availability varies by platform.

Can I set up the VPN manually?

Yes. Manual setup can be useful when you prefer an operating-system connection, need a particular supported protocol or use a third-party OpenVPN client.

Which VPN protocols are supported?

WireGuard is the modern recommended option. OpenVPN and IKEv2/IPsec are supported. VLESS manual configuration is available on selected servers, with availability expanding. Stealth is a separate option available on supported desktop VPNClient applications. L2TP/IPsec and PPTP are legacy compatibility options. Availability varies by client, platform and server.

Where can I find current server hostnames?

Use the Server Hostnames reference for the current country, city, hostname and published IP inventory. The list is generated from the same validated server cache used by this setup hub.

How do I generate an OpenVPN configuration?

Choose a current server and an API-verified port in the OpenVPN generator, then select Generate configuration. The file is generated server-side and the form does not collect your VPN username or password.

Can I use the VPN on more than one device?

Yes. Each customer VPN account supports up to 10 simultaneous connections.

What should I do if the VPN will not connect?

Verify the account details, try another current server, compare another network, try another supported client or protocol option, and note the exact error. Contact Support if the issue continues.

Is Stealth available?

Stealth is available through supported desktop VPNClient applications for restrictive networks. It is not presented as available on every platform.
